These sweet gold electroformed pear cut gems are gorgeous!
The crystals were mounted onto surgical steel posts and then suspended in a conductive solution for a period of close to 12 hours while copper was slowly deposited to create the setting.
By then end of the electroforming process, the crystals have been encased in an organic looking, 100 % recycled copper setting which is then plated in gold and polished to a soft shine.
Earring backs are also surgical steel.
