These gorgeous green crystals are mounted onto surgical steel posts and then suspended in a conductive solution for a period of close to 24 hours while copper is slowly deposited using electricity.
By then end of the electroforming process, the carved tourmaline crystals have been encased in an organic setting that looks like it has been 'grown' around the stones. The settings are made from 100% recycled copper, and then plated in silver.
Earring backs are also surgical steel.
