This necklace is so lovely, featuring a breathtaking chunk of garnet that is such a deep red it appears almost black ✨
The electroforming process took around 12 hours for this piece while the copper slowly deposited from a 100 % recycled copper anode onto the crystal. The copper deposited to crawl just below the bail in a stunning spiderweb formation that is impossible to recreate.
The copper was then plated in silver and polished to a soft shine.
The pendant is hung on a dainty sterling silver lariat chain as pictured. (24”)
